  • BOOKING CONDITIONS

    Babies & Children

    • Babies & children aged under 12 cannot be accommodated.

  • General Accessibility

    • The premises are only open to guests staying with us, we are not open to the wider public.

    • Although all rooms are on ground level once inside, there are several steps up to the entrance to the building. There is a single step into the Garden Suite.

    Latest Check-in

    • We do not have a 24 hour reception, and check-in to the main building is only possible up to 23:00 (** see exception note for Garden Suite).

    • There is absolutely no provision for check-in after this time, and admission will not be possible with the booking being treated as a no-show at full charge (see below). We would prefer that a booking was not made if there is any possibility that this latest check-in time could not be met.

    • If you plan on arriving after 22.00, please let us know beforehand so that we can expect a late check-in.

     

    ** Whilst check-in to the main building is only possible up until 23:00, the Garden Suite has its own entrance, and arrangements can be made for a later check-in to this accommodation, as long as this is confirmed on booking.

  • Earliest Check-in

    • Check-in to the building is not possible before 15:00 due to time restraints on servicing.

    Check-out time

    • Check-out is required before 10:30 on the morning of departure to allow for room servicing.
       

    Cancellation/No show Policy

    • We are happy to accept reservations in person, by telephone, fax, or e-mail. All are considered a legally binding contract. From the point of booking, the room is reserved, and no longer made available for others to book 

    • In the event of guests not turning up by the latest check-in (noshow), the full amount for the first night of the booking will be payable.

    • Our cancellation period is just 24 hours. In the event of cancellation without this notice, the full amount for the first night of the booking will be payable (we will attempt to re-let rooms from time of cancellation, and if successful, are happy to waive this charge). There is no charge for cancellation with 24 hours notice, we will stand the cost ourselves if we are unable to relet the room.

    • Guests are advised to consider travel insurance for the eventuality of a late cancellation/no show charge being levied.
       

    Payment methods

    • Payment is required by cash (pounds sterling) or major credit/debit card, as shown below.

    • We do not accept cheques, unless provided in advance.

    • We do not currently charge extra for payment by card, but request that where possible, guests consider payment by cash or debit cards which incur considerably lower bank charges.

    • Although we absorb bank charges for payment by card, any cancellation requiring refund by card will incur a handling charge of 3%.

    • A V.A.T. invoice is provided on payment by any method.
