A unique establishment with a
fascinating history. The sincere kindness, consideration and service
extended to our weary party was much appreciated.
The accommodations are spacious,
spotless and tasteful.
By applying the B&B concept to an
unconventional setting, the personable proprietors have created a
refreshing experience. Will not hesitate to return or to recommend to
others visiting this lovely part of Scotland, so conveniently located to
the Irish ferries.
All the best.
p.s. Great Breakfast |

As a business user who usually uses
travel inns and not B&B's, I was pleasantly surprised. The pics on the

Lovely surroundings and well kept
garden area. reception is small but very clean & tidy and well
maintained (didn't even see a chipped skirting board). Everything looks
newly renovated. This continues in the bedroom. My single room was well
sized and modern with Sky & LCD TV.

makes all the difference - demonstrates real empathy for the weary

Wow! This is the nicest B&B we've
stayed in for quite some time. We wished we could stay longer.
I stay in around 80 B&B's, guest
houses or hotels each year, and it's really unfortunate that you come to
expect mediocre service and quality. You guys have got it just right - I
honestly think that this is one of the best B&B's I have ever stayed in.
Very comfortable, a wonderful welcome, a great laid-back attitude and
very reasonable prices.
Do you fancy opening more places in
other parts of Scotland? |

Woke up to a beautiful view at the

Once again, a lovely welcome from two warm
and friendly people, and with only a small step to negotiate, the flat
is ideal for anyone with mobility problems.
The well-equipped kitchen, lounge double
bedroom and the twin room are immaculate, the bathroom is huge with all
the facilities needed for a wheelchair to move around with ease.
Our large delicious evening meal and
breakfast were served in the flat, and are great value for money.
Rhins of Galloway is ideally situated for

I've been in many B&B's,
this one really impressed me. You can see that extra effort has been
given to make you feel welcome. Clean, very comfortable, large bedrooms,
food very well presented. One of the best I've experienced. Would
recommend to anyone. If I'm ever back this way on holiday, I will be
staying here. Keep up the excellent job you're doing.
Good luck for the future. |

The first time I haven't stayed in a
big-chain hotel, and what a pleasant difference,
'human' service, combined with an ideal
location for access to the ferry terminal - and the most peaceful
night's sleep I've had in a long while.
Thank you. |

Having been a 'self-caterer' for more years
than I care to remember (more than 60), I have experienced many changes
and enhanced standards but I can honestly say that none have bettered
the Rhins of Galloway.
The number of things that are normally
subject to an extra charge but are included in the basic price and the
thoughtful little extras make a stay here exceptionally pleasing and
comfortable. |

First impression of walking into the
building was the friendly owner who was there to greet us on arrival. He
showed both my husband & myself around the communal areas and the
"developing bar room" is very impressive. Our room was clean and was
cleanly decorated to give a fresh and "airy" feeling. Bed was very
comfortable. It had all the hallmarks of a 3 star hotel. Well done! |

If you are in the area as a tourist, on business or catching the ferry,
this is definitely the place to stay. The location is excellent, and the
accommodation spacious, allowing guests to 'wander around'. I loved the
subtle decor, fabulous bathrooms, stylish lounge and a few nice antiques
placed around. Our host gave us such a warm welcome, we felt we had just
arrived as a dinner guest! The function room is being renovated and will
be great. This is definitely going to be the place to stay - watch this
space and book early! Many thanks. |

ever eaten out. The rooms were really clean and very comfortable.
