Northern Ireland

The Stena Line port at Belfast and the P&O port at Larne are 21 miles (26 minutes by car).

Journey duration

 

P&O

Cairnryan to Larne ferry crossing takes 2 hours  for the Superferry, and 1 hour for the Express fastcraft (http://www.poirishsea.com/passenger/timetables.htm). It takes around 20 minutes to disembark

If travelling into the centre of Belfast, it will take around 30 minutes to travel the 22 miles from Larne ferry terminal to Belfast city centre (for full directions, specify "BT40 1" as start destination and Belfast as end destination to http://www.mapquest.co.uk/mq/directions/mapbydirection.do).

Stena Line

Stranraer to Belfast journey takes 2 hours 50 minutes for the Superferry, and 2 hours for the HSS (http://www.stenaline.co.uk/ferry/fares-and-timetables/). It takes around 20 minutes to disembark

If travelling into the centre of Belfast, it will take around 8 minutes to travel the 4 miles from Victoria Terminal 4, to Belfast City Centre.
