 A one minute drive away from the Cairnryan ferry terminal and less than five minutes from Stranraer terminal, we are ideally located for the ferry services which run from Cairnryan to Larne (P&O), and Stranraer to Belfast (Stena Line). Rhins of Galloway is marked by the blue rectangle & arrow, on the map to the left. Stena Line are planning to relocate their operations from their current position in Stranraer to Old House Point, Cairnryan (marked by the red circle) - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/south_of_scotland/8506750.stm and http://www.porttechnology.org/port_planning_environment/Stena-Line-invests-200-million-in-new-Scottish/5562.html. It is hoped that the new terminal will be operational by late 2011.

Motorbikes |
There is no specific provision for motorbikes, and these are normally parked alongside the cars. |

Cars/Vans (up to max length of 5.7m)
|
We have plentiful parking for guests cars along from the building as shown above (blue). The space in front of the building is reserved for disabled parking. Parking for cars/vans and vehicles up to a total length of 5.7m (Transit Van long wheel base size) can be accommodated without pre-arrangement, since the normal parking spaces shown can be used without causing obstruction for other vehicles.

Large vehicles
|
We have only one dedicated space available for larger/longer vehicles (shown) which is not always available. Vehicles should be parked right up to the wooden gate. Any presence of such vehicles MUST be agreed beforehand, otherwise on-site parking will not be possible. There are no nearby offsite parking areas. To avoid disturbance to guests, we do not allow running refrigeration units. |

|
Disabled parking |
Although there is no parking directly in front of the building (this is for drop off/unloading and emergency access only), there is one space just beyond the entrance steps for use by guests with disabilities. Guests with disabilities using the Garden Flat may use the track to the rear of the building and park directly outside the flat. |
